Acceptable use policy
Effective 7 October 2026
This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to everyone who uses ReeBot, and to the assistants you build and the channels you connect.
1.Nothing unlawful or harmful
Don't use ReeBot, or let your assistant be used, to:
- break any law or regulation, or help someone else do so;
- sell or promote illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs, or regulated products without the licences the law requires;
- publish content that sexually exploits children, promotes terrorism or violence, or harasses, threatens or discriminates against people;
- defraud, scam or mislead people, including phishing, fake reviews or impersonating another business or person;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
2.Be honest that it's an AI
- Don't instruct an assistant to say it is a human, or remove or hide the notice that tells people they are chatting with an AI.
- Don't present AI answers as the advice of a named, qualified professional.
- Don't use the service to generate deepfakes or content designed to deceive people about who or what produced it.
3.High-risk uses
ReeBot is designed for customer service and sales. Don't use it:
- to diagnose or treat medical conditions, or to give legal, tax or investment advice that people will rely on without a qualified person reviewing it;
- as an emergency service or for safety-critical decisions;
- to make decisions about people's access to employment, credit, insurance, housing, education or public services, or to profile people in ways that have legal or similarly significant effects;
- for anything the EU AI Act prohibits, such as manipulative or exploitative techniques, social scoring, or inferring emotions in workplaces or schools;
- with services directed at children under 16 unless you have the protections the law requires.
4.Personal data and messaging
- Don't collect payment card numbers, passwords, government ID numbers or special category data (such as health, religion or sexuality) through an assistant unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
- Don't send spam. Only send follow-up and marketing emails to people who have agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise allows it, and honour unsubscribe requests.
- Follow WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and telephone rules, including opt-in requirements, message templates, calling hours and call recording laws.
- Don't upload other people's personal data as knowledge content unless you are allowed to use it that way.
5.Knowledge content and website import
- Only import websites you own or are authorised to use. Don't use the importer to scrape third-party sites or to get around paywalls, logins or robots.txt rules.
- Don't upload malware or files designed to exploit the service or anyone else.
6.Security and fair use
- Don't probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission. Report vulnerabilities as described on our security page.
- Don't try to access other workspaces, other people's accounts or data you aren't authorised to see.
- Don't get around plan limits, rate limits or billing, for example by creating many free workspaces or sharing API keys.
- Don't overload the service, extract the underlying models or prompts, or use the service to build a competing product.
7.What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove content, pause an assistant or channel, or suspend or close an account that breaks this policy, as set out in the terms of service. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
To report an assistant that breaks this policy, email us with the website where you saw it and what happened.
