Cookies and browser storage

This page lists everything ReeBot stores in your browser, what it is for, and how long it stays.
1.In short
ReeBot uses only cookies and browser storage that are needed to sign you in, remember the choices you make and keep a chat going. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't load third-party trackers. Because everything we store is strictly necessary for a service you ask for, we don't need to ask for consent, so there is no cookie banner.

3.In the chat widget on our customers' websites
When a business adds a ReeBot assistant to its website, the chat runs in a frame served from our domain. Nothing is stored on your device until you open the chat. After that:

The widget doesn't set cookies and doesn't track you across websites. The business that runs the website decides how the conversation is used; see its own privacy notice, usually linked in the chat.
4.Payments
When you upgrade a plan, you are sent to Stripe's checkout or billing portal. Stripe sets its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe's cookie policy.
5.Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block them, you won't be able to sign in to the dashboard, and the chat widget won't remember your conversation. If we ever add cookies that aren't strictly necessary, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page. See our privacy policy for how we use personal data.
