Hospitality

Venues take a meaningful share of their bookings at hours nobody is staffed for, in a language that is not always covered. That demand is measurable before anything is built.

Judged on

  • Bookings captured outside staffed hoursThe whole point of the engagement.
  • Share of conversations in ArabicCoverage, not just volume.
  • Escalation rate and accuracyBoth matter: too few escalations is a worse signal than too many.
  • No-show rateConfirmed against bookings the agent took, to check quality has not been traded for volume.

The pattern

What we keep
walking into.

  • Bookings arrive by phone, Instagram DM and the website, and a real share of them land late at night.
  • Arabic enquiries are answered a day late, or not at all.
  • Each venue has a page, but the pages are not bookable and are not marked up for search.
  • Amendments and cancellations are handled ad hoc, so the covers forecast is unreliable.
  • Nobody can quantify the demand missed outside staffed hours, so nobody can justify fixing it.

The approach

What we do
about it.

  1. Quantify the gap first

Enquiry volume by hour and by language, from the existing inbox and phone logs. This is a week of work and it decides whether the rest is worth doing.

  2. Make the venue pages do their job

Bookable, fast, and correctly marked up so search engines and assistants can read opening hours, menus and location.

  3. A bilingual reservations agent, tightly bounded

Wired into the booking system you already use. Hard limits on group size and comps; complaints and anything unusual escalate to a duty manager with a summary.

  4. Keep a person in the loop while it earns trust

The agent drafts before it acts, and autonomy expands only as its evaluation scores allow.
